What is TempleDao?
TempleDAO will be launching on the Ethereum mainnet and not Polygon/Matic.
DeFi moves fast and the Templar must be always vigilant and agile.After stripping down all the fluff and honestly reassessing the value proposition of our core principles, we conclude that it’s best for Temple to first launch on Ethereum for the following reasons:
TempleDao's protocol reserves and investment strategies will be deployed on L1 where the best yield aggregators and spot derivatives reside. Bridging to and from Polygon would simply increase friction and reduce flexibility for the Protocol.
High volume makes sense for a utility token and makes money for the DEX. Temple users just need to buy-in and chill-out — high volume is not required.
Gas fees have mercifully subsided.
